I was so excited when I bought my first book (age 3) that my mom left the car light on so I could read it on the way home. My love of (some could say unhealthy obsession with) reading led to writing, a pair of glasses at fourteen and an allergy to sunlight (kidding about the sunlight part). My writing career got off to a shaky start after my seventh grade English teacher accused me of plagerizing my first short story.
Apparently, she didn't think an eleven-year-old could write a sweeping fanatasy epic involving unicorns (we were supposed to turn in fifteen pages but I turned in forty). I had an obsession at the time with unicorns. And rainbows. And My Little Pony. Anyway, I digress. So I pretty much have always wanted to be a writer.
