Born in Jackson Michigan, Sue graduated from Grand Rapids Union High School in 1969. She has since, spent ten years in the US Navy and has garnered degrees in literature from Michigan State University and the University of South Florida. She followed her naval career with a twelve year stint as an instructor of Composition, research and argumentation. In 1988, she moved to Ypsilanti, where she still resides, with her husband, two sons, and three cats.
In 1998, Sue retired from teaching to pursue a full-time career and lifelong dream as an author. She achieved that dream in 1999 with the publication of her first novel, THE COWBOY AND THE CADDY, a short contemporary romance. Since then, Sue has had two more short contemporaries published. Never satisfied without a challenge, Sue broke away from contemporary romance to pen the book of her heart. A TRUE AND PERFECT KNIGHT is Sue's first medeival romance and will be published by Dorchester's Leisure imprint in December 2001.
