Katy Currie (Diana Palmer) was born in 1946 in USA. Always she was the assiduous reading, and such one and as she itself confesses always she has felt weakness for the cowboys. In her free time, she is the great one fond of the gardening, the archaeology, the anthropology, the astronomy, the music and the iguanas.
In 1972, she married with James Kyle, and the marriage has been established in the state of Georgia, where tubieron a son. Susan worked as journalist for 16 years, so much in both daily and weekly publications.
James left his work at construction to study programming, and also it encouraged his wife Susan to whom with 45 years volviesé to the university to study History.
In 1995, Susan graduated "summa cum laude" in History for the university of Piedmont, Demorest, state of Georgia, where also she dealed studies of Archaeology and Spanish. Also he was nominated an honorific member of several societies (the Torch Club and Alpha Chi), beside being included in the National List of Deans.
In 1998 her husband left his business of computers and now he takes part in competitions of skeet shooting, to national and international level. The son of both, at present is studying in the university.
Apart from her projects as writer, Susan is fulfilling at present a máster in History of the State University of California, and has the intention of specializing herself in Native American Studies.
Susan informs actively in organizations as the Foundation for the Laws of the Native Americans, the American Museum of Natural History, the Ranchers' National Association, the Archaeological Institute of America, the Planetary Society, the Georgia Conservancy, the Association of the Sheriff of Georgia, besides many other charitable organizations and associations of conservation of the nature.
From 1979 in which her first novel was publishing, she has received diverse awards, between them the prize of critique granted by Romantic Times.
Between the awards that she has received emphasize seven prizes Waldenbooks, four prizes B. Dalton, two Bookrak, all of them for her national sales, a Lifetime Achievement Award of the magazine Romantic Times Magazine, several prizes Affaire de Coeur and two prizes RWA.
Susan appears in multitude of publications as Contemporanie Authors de Gale Research, Inc, Twentieth Century Romance and St's Historical Writers. James Press, The Writers Directory de St. James Press, International Who's Who of Authors and Writers de Melrose Press, Ltd., and Love's Leading Ladies de Kathryn Falk.
In 1998, one readers' survey of Harlequin in Japan they granted to her novel of Desire, "The patient nurse" the prize to the novel of the year.
