for Grave Sight

After being struck by lighting, Harper Connelly is able to find dead people and view the last few minutes of their lives. She can also see what killed them. What, but, unfortunately, not who.
She makes her living at this, finding the corpses of missing women and children, determining what killed someone who may - or may not - be a murder victim. She travels with her stepbrother, Tolliver Lang who acts as her manager/bodyguard/companion.
When she is summoned to a small town in the Ozarks, she finds herself embroiled in town scandals and politics as person after person dies. She even becomes a target herself and knows she should leave, but feels compelled to stay.
There is very little romance in Grave Sight although both Harper and Tolliver do find temporary companions. At times, because Harper and Tolliver aren't related by blood, I wondered if there wasn't a romantic tie between the two, though none was apparent.
But, if you like murder, mayhem and paranormal intrigue, and don't mind a scarcity of romance, you'll find this book hard to put down.
